From
The Ground Up Garden Center is owned by Jannette and Harrison
Huggins. Jannette, a former manager of Bumbargers in Lincolnton for 11
years, and Harrison, a former mulch business owner, opened the garden
center in March 2006. The name for the new business come to Jannette one
night while she was sleeping. "I shot up in bed and decided I wanted to
call our new business 'From The Ground Up,'" she said. And the work began,
the Huggins literally building their new business from the ground up.
From Lincolnton, take Reepsville Road to Startown Road. Turn right onto Startown Road and go about four mile. From The Ground Up Garden Center will be on your left. For more information on From The Ground Up, call Jannette or Harrison Huggins at 704.735.3154. |

Hours are 8 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday; 8 AM to 2 PM on Saturdays.
Closed Sundays.
